Tinley Park Cops Release Information on Comfort Inn Robberies

The Tinley Park police released details on the two robberies last month at the Comfort Inn & Suites.

A masked, hooded man armed with a pistol stuck up the Spring Creek Drive motel the evening of Feb.11. He menaced a clerk and made off with cash. A second man spotted in the area may have also been involved.

Ten days later, shortly before 1 a.m., a man in a navy blue hooded sweatshirt used the restroom at the Comfort Inn and then departed. He returned a short time later with a man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a scarf over his face. The first man produced a pistol and the clerk surrendered cash.

No one was injured in either of the robberies.
