It has come to my attention that Tinley Park has been experiencing a inordinate amount of crime over the past year. Home invasions, break ins, bank robberies, armed robberies, car jackings, etc. What is troubling me the most is the false advertising that this is the safest town in a recent survey especially after the attempted murder that just occurred weeks ago. It also bothers me that the police seem to have no idea how to solve these crimes considering we have over 80 full time officers making between 60 and 85k. The pointwo I'm trying to make is our kids are being exposed to drugs which are rampant in Tinley and the police are oblivious to it. I'm a concerned citizen cause I watch cars do 25 over the speed limit all day down my street and so do the policeman. I just really have a problem calling Tinley park a great place to live when everyday a serious crime is being committed, and drugs are readily available pretty much anywhere. Where are the police and when are they going to start deterring some of this crime from happening.
