Tinley Park Environmental Commission Plans Week Of Events To Celebrate Earth Day

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Tinley Park Environmental Enhancement Commission has planned a week of activities to celebrate Earth Day in April.

Tinley Park Earth Week kicks off with the annual Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 18, which will feature nature, sustainability, and eco-focused community resources, storytime with the Tinley Park Public Library, giveaways, and treats available at The Scoop's food truck.

Earth Week continues with both virtual and in-person events through April 24, including our "Ready, Set, Grow!" seed swap and garden event on Wednesday, April 22 at Harmony Square, and a wildflower hike with the Cook County Forest Preserves at St. Mihiel Woods on Thursday, April 23.
