Tinley Park High School NHS Chapter Wins National Award
"This recognition is a testament to the exceptional standard our members have set this past year," said Pietro Sansone.

For its exemplary record of leadership, service and efforts to improve the school and community, the National Honor Society NHS awarded Tinley Park High School the Chapter of Distinction award. NHS is supported by its parent organization, the National Principals Association (NPA), which also oversees the National Association of Student Councils.
“This recognition is a testament to the exceptional standard our members have set this past year," said Pietro Sansone, NHS Advisor at Tinley Park High School. "Together, they contributed over 3,000 hours of service, supporting clubs, activities, and events throughout our school while also giving their time to local churches, animal shelters, food pantries, and other community organizations.
“Their leadership went beyond individual projects. Last year, our members created, planned, and hosted the chapter's first Film on the Field fundraiser, a successful event that raised $1,000 for Tinley Wish and brought students and the community together. They also demonstrated scholarship and character in the classroom and hallways every day, setting an example for their peers and underclassmen. It has been a privilege to guide such a driven and compassionate group, and this award honors the many hours of consistent effort that often go unseen.”
