Tinley Park Woman Denies Threatening Attacks On Fireworks Shows
The woman told a judge she didn't threaten attacks on fireworks displays. The judge said she used Google Voice to disguise her identity.

COOK COUNTY, IL — A Tinley Park woman accused of sending text messages intimating attacks on local fireworks displays used a Google Voice number to hide her identity, a judge said Friday.
Jeanette Larue, 50, of Tinley Park, was charged with disorderly conduct after police said she sent text messages to her nephew July 4 threatening to attack fireworks celebrations in Tinley Park, Orland Park, Lockport and Joliet.
In court Friday, Larue denied doing what she's accused of, noting a family dispute at the root of the incident, the Chicago Tribune reports. Larue stood with a cane, telling the judge she is on Social Security and suffers from Parkinson's disease, the Chicago Tribune reports.
