Man Charged in Crash that Left Woman Disabled Could See Trial in January
David McFadden is out on bond and still awaits his trial.

A Homer Glen man accused of reckless driving in a crash that left a Tinley Park woman severely disabled could go to trial in January.
David McFadden is charged with aggravated reckless driving in the Jan. 18 crash that severely injured 33-year-old Jamie Stanczyk, 33, of Tinley Park. Police say McFadden ran a red light and hit Stanczyk’s car around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of 159th and Harlem Avenue. Stanczyk was trapped in the vehicle and needed to be extricated by fire department personnel. Due to her injuries, she remained in a coma for 70 days. She suffered a brain injury and now requires rehabilitation and constant care.
McFadden, who was 21 at the time, admitted to drinking at a bar before the accident, and failed field sobriety tests at the scene.
