Village Waives Parking Fees For June

The Village's commuter parking lots are anticipated to resume normal operations July 1.

Metra is continuing to operate a reduced modified Sunday schedule through Sunday, June 7, and may adjust schedules daily as conditions change, with a priority toward safety of passengers, Metra employees and the commuter system.

In light of these factors, the Village will be waiving parking fees for the month of June. Individuals who had already paid for the second-quarter permits will now receive credit for the entire quarter, plus a half month credit for March (as appropriate), that can be used to pay for future parking permits. Similarly, parking fees will not be required in the Village’s daily fee lots for the month of June. As the Single Use Tokens do not expire, they can be used late, as well. However, individuals who park in restricted areas (handicap spaces, fire lanes, etc.) will continue to be ticketed as appropriate. Beginning July 1, the Village’s commuter parking lots are anticipated to resume normal operations.
