• More than 100-year-old home destroyed in Tuscola fire (wcia.com) — A 126-year-old home near Parke and Newkirk Streets in Tuscola was destroyed by a major fire Monday afternoon, displacing its two residents but sparing their dogs. About 40 firefighters from six departments battled the blaze for four hours before the damaged structure was demolished, while neighbors and Monical’s Pizza helped keep first responders fed and hydrated.
