A 20-year-old carnival worker has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl while she was visiting a fun house at Septemberfest in Schaumburg, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Adam J. Moyers, of Franklin Park, entered a guilty plea Thursday to predatory criminal sexual assault during a hearing at the Cook County courthouse, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Moyer was working at the funhouse on Sept. 2, 2012, when the young girl visited the attraction, decided she didn't want to go into the funhouse and was taken by Moyer to a slide where officials say the abuse happened, according to the Daily Herald.
