VERNON HILLS, Ill. (April 16, 2026) &ndash; <a href="https://www.colormemine.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Color Me Mine</a>, the leading paint-your-own-pottery franchise, is opening a new Vernon Hills location, continuing to enchant the greater Chicagoland area with a world of artistic possibilities. Located at 701 N. Milwaukee Ave, Suite 184, Color Me Mine Vernon will officially celebrate its debut April 24 with a full day of family-friendly festivities. 
The new studio is owned and operated by local mother-daughter duo Skylar and Stacy Sinram, both native Chicagoans. Stacy, a retired elementary school teacher, brings a lifelong passion for fostering creativity and working with children. Skylar has always had a passion for art and discovered her love for the brand while working at another Color Me Mine studio, where she started in a part-time role and grew into a leadership position after a few years with that studio. Inspired to take the next step, the pair decided to open their own studio together, creating a welcoming space where families can connect, celebrate, and explore their artistic side. 

&ldquo;Opening a Color Me Mine is a dream come true for us,&rdquo; said Skylar Sinram. &ldquo;I have seen firsthand the impact a creative space like this can have on a community, and we&rsquo;re excited to bring that experience to Vernon Hills. We hope to create a place where the community can come together, celebrate and express their creativity in a fun, welcoming environment.&rdquo;

Grand Opening Day Highlights April 24 include:

&middot;Official ribbon-cutting ceremony held in partnership with the local Chamber of Commerce At 4 p.m
