Elgin Academy Offers TLP Merit Scholarship Opportunities for Local 8th Graders

Elgin Academy is offering two scholarship opportunities in the amounts of $7500 or $5000 for current 8th graders in the surrounding areas who are considering enrolling at the Academy in fall 2017. The Taking Learning Personally (TLP) Scholarship will be awarded annually to excellent students who personify the mission and principles of Elgin Academy. Candidates for the scholarship are dedicated students who have clearly demonstrated achievement not only in their academics but also throughout their community activities.

Elgin Academy will award merit-based scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year to a select number of students entering ninth grade. Recipients who maintain at least a 3.5 GPA and are contributing students to the Elgin Academy community will continue to be awarded the TLP Scholarship each year until their graduation.

Applicants and at least one parent must attend the student scholarship Workshop on January 14 at 8:30 am at Elgin Academy.
