Manpower Plans Lake County Hiring Events in Mundelein throughout April

Employers in Illinois expect to hire at an upbeat pace during Q2 2017, according to the ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey

Mundelein, IL (March 27, 2017) – As mentioned in the Q2 2017 ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey, job growth is being experienced not only across the United States but also by employers right in Lake County, IL. To assist with this increase in the workforce, Manpower is hosting a series of Hiring Events in Mundelein from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Wednesday in April, offering over 100 new job opportunities in Lake County for medical kit assembly and general warehouse employment.

Due to the growth of employment opportunities with Manpower clients located in the Mundelein, Vernon Hills and Libertyville areas, Manpower has set up a local offsite location where job seekers can meet with recruiters to discuss immediate job placements. The majority of these positions are Temp to Hire, with potential for permanent placements. There will be on-the-spot interviews conducted and firm job offers will be made on the day of the event. Resumes or work history will be reviewed to determine immediate job placements. There is potential to earn an additional $100 referral bonus for qualified applicants’ friends or family members.

According to the ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey, employers in Illinois expect to hire at an upbeat pace during the 2nd Quarter of 2017. From April to June, 22% of the companies interviewed plan to hire more employees, with just 5% percent expecting to reduce their payrolls. Another 70% plan to maintain their current workforce levels and 3% are not certain of their hiring plans. This yields a Net Employment Outlook of 17%.

“Hiring intentions are stronger compared to Q1 2016 when the Net Employment Outlook was 6%,” said ManpowerGroup spokesperson Anne Edmunds. “The hiring pace is expected to pick up compared to one year ago when the Net Employment Outlook was 13%.”

The ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey is conducted quarterly to measure employers' intentions to increase or decrease the number of employees in their workforces during the next quarter.
