Deerfield, Vernon Hills and Buffalo Grove-area soccer players have a golden opportunity to showcase skills and continue their development at this week's tryouts for all 2014 – 2015 Lincolnshire Lightning Travel Soccer Club teams. Player development and teamwork are key qualities Lincolnshire Lightning coaches emphasize in preparing young athletes for success.
- Tryouts for all players (U6 - U15) are being held on Thursday, May 29 and Monday, June 2.
- All Tryouts are free – there is no cost to try out for the Lincolnshire Lightning, but prospective players must register in advance.
The Lincolnshire Lightning Travel Soccer Club is an established, community-focused organization where all participants play together for their specific teams throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons – unlike other area clubs which pool same-age players into large training groups before they’re assigned to different teams, as needed and often on a week-to-week basis.
Roster spots are available on boys and girls teams for beginning players entering the Lightning Juniors program (U6 & U7) as well as all teams up to U14. Professional coaches, including several affiliated with area college teams, create a fun atmosphere of competitive play that emphasizes:

The Lincolnshire Lightning is an independent organization where simply, individual attention, guidance and resources only support its individual teams. It is not part of a network of several suburban soccer clubs featuring thousands of players.
