Insulation, Closet Light Cause of Libertyville-Area Blaze

The fire occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 29700 block of Oakspring Lane.

Fire officials believe a blaze at a home in unincorporated Libertyville Saturday night started because insulation was too close to a light in a closet, according to the Daily Herald. 

The fire caused about $300,000 in damage to the home in the 29700 block of Oakspring Lane and one firefighter was injured in the blaze, according to the article. The home is currently uninhabitable
