Jamie Lono, District 128 Students to Perform at Band Jam

The District 128 Community Partnership for Healthy Youth (CPHY) will host an all-ages band jam on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at the Sullivan Center, 635 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

The event will feature a performance by Jamie Lono, finalist on NBC's The Voice and 2007 Vernon Hills High School graduate.

Two bands featuring D128 students—Five Years and Mystic Tomato—will also perform. Admission is $5, and the first 100 people will receive free pizza.

CPHY works towards prevention and reduction of underage drinking and substance use by providing education, awareness and opportunities.
