Metra Parking Improvements Coming
Vernon Hills Metra commuters will need to park in the east lot when the village begins work June 17.
Beginning Monday, June 17, the Village of Vernon Hills will be performing parking lot improvements to the west (main) Metra train station parking lot.
Work will continue through June 29.
The west parking lot will not be available for parking during this time. Commuters will need to use the east parking lot.
In addition, the long term parking will be relocated to the east lot and parking will be relocated to parking spaces 723-730.
Entrance and exit into the station parking lot will be provided using the traffic signal.
