'Romeo and Juliet' Goes Punk at VHHS

Shakespeare's love story goes cyberpunk.

William Shakespeare's classic love story, Romeo and Juliet, is coming to Vernon Hills High School cyberpunk style.

Theater-goers will see the star-crossed lovers with set, costumes and hair inspired by the cyberpunk and steam punk movement.

Kevin Phelan directs this tale of pride, rebellion, and woe. Hair and costumes are conceived by Jen Phelan.

The show runs at 7:30 p.m. Feb 14-16 in the high school's Studio Theater. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students, and are available for purchase at the VHHS box office the evenings of performance or may be reserved by calling the Fine Arts office at (847) 932-2283.
