Vernon Hills High School Students to Sell Special Burgers at Tom & Eddie's

All Vernon Hills High School marketing classes will be participating in the Tom & Eddie’s Burger Challenge.

On Oct. 29, everyone in the community is invited to join Ms. Richards’ and Mrs. Kovarik’s marketing classes at the Tom & Eddie’s in Vernon Hills  from 5-9 p.m. Each class will be selling its own burger creation. Ms. Kovarik’s 2nd hour class will be selling the Wild West Burger, Ms. Richards’ 7th hour class will be selling the Pepper Jack Stack and Mrs. Kovarik’s 8th hour class will be selling the Cougar Classic Burger.

All of the marketing classes have been creating a marketing campaign, as well as surveying potential buyers, to see what our target market is willing to pay for. Last year, we had a great turnout for the event and hope to see the Vernon Hills community once again this year. Tom and Eddie’s will donate a percentage of the profits from this event to the COVE Alliance, which is the charity the three classes agreed upon. The COVE Alliance helps orphaned and disadvantaged children in Africa.
