Lake County Public Works is starting the process of identifying necessary repairs to the sanitary system for the Village of Vernon Hills. There are two areas that excavation will occur in Deerpath Park near Kids’ Castle playground. To ensure safety, the paths, restroom, and playground may be closed from Monday, November 1 through Thursday, November 4. Please be cautious in this area. For more information, please contact the Vernon Hills Park District Parks Department at 847-996-6817.The photo identifies where the closures may occur.
