Vernon Hills Resident Returns from Cambodia

Stephanie Pecht of Vernon Hills studied abroad in Cambodia early this spring.

Pecht, who attends Augustana College, was among 30 students who spent five weeks in Cambodia this past January and February. While in Cambodia, the students visited the temples of Angkor Wat and the cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. The students also taught English at a school.

Pecht is majoring in communication sciences and disorders.
