When Does School Start in Vernon Hills?

The start of school is just weeks away.

Here's a look at when students will start the 2012-13 school year:

Community High School District 128
Students at both and High Schools will start classes Aug. 22.

Diamond Lake School District 76

Students will return to school Aug. 22.

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade will return to classes Aug. 27. It will be a full day of school.

Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103

Students will start classes Aug. 22. That day will include the first day of classes for full-day kindergarten. All students will be released early. Aug. 23 will mark the first full day of classes for half-day and full-day kindergarten, along with grades one through eight. Early childhood classes will start Aug. 24.

Stevenson High School

The first day of school for freshmen is Aug. 22; all students will start classes Aug. 23.
