An Elgin woman is dead after the car she was driving went off an overpass at about 9:30 p.m. Monday while she was southbound on Illinois Route 53, according to CBS Chicago. Her car landed on its roof on Route 14 in Palatine, according to the article.
CBS Chicago reports Julie Allard, 34, was the only person in the car at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:12 p.m.
