• Eiu students secure teaching residencies across Illinois (jg-tc.com) — Future teachers from Eastern Illinois University will be completing yearlong classroom residencies in communities across Illinois, including right here in Wadsworth. The program places 90 graduate students in schools from Wadsworth to Goreville, helping address statewide teacher shortages while giving local districts access to well-prepared, mentored educators in high‑demand subjects and special education.
