• Police launching investigation into contracted employee at Wauconda High School who is also CLC staff member (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Police are investigating a contracted College of Lake County employee who works at Wauconda High School, and the person has been placed on administrative leave. Wauconda police say there is no known ongoing threat to students or staff, but many residents are frustrated by the lack of detail. District 118 and police are coordinating the inquiry and asking anyone with information to contact the department.
