• Recycling Extravaganza Event is June 6 (westchicago.org) — West Chicago residents and businesses can take advantage of a free Recycling Extravaganza on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at the METRA lot on Main Street. You’ll be able to shred documents, dispose of medications and sharps, recycle electronics, textiles, bikes, and more, plus pick up pre-ordered rain barrels through a partnership of local and county organizations.
