4 Unlocked Cars Burglarized In Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL - Four cars were burglarized early Monday morning in Western Springs. The Western Springs Police Department confirmed an investigation into the incidents, which seem to be similar to others in nearby La Grange the same morning, on their Facebook page. Western Springs police say that in every instance save for one of the vehicle burglaries that the offenders entered through unlocked doors and gained access to parked vehicles.

In La Grange, 23 such incidents were reported on Monday.

Both police departments in Western Springs and La Grange "are urging our communities to remove all valuables and keys or key fobs from the interior of their vehicles and lock the doors."
