Accused Car Burglar Used Stolen Credit Card to Buy Alcohol, Diapers: Prosecutor
Chicago man identified on store security video by his "distinctive" face and neck tattoos, prosecutor says.

A Chicago man appeared for a bond hearing on charges that he burglarized a car and used a stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases last December.
Prosecutors said Christopher Davis, 21, and another individual took several items from an unlocked car in unincorporated La Grange Highlands during the evening of Dec. 13, 2015.

According to the charges, Davis used the vehicle owner’s credit card to purchase alcohol, diapers, clothing and toys.
Davis was captured on store security video using the stolen credit card. Police were able to identify him through his tattoos on his face and arms, prosecutors said.

Police arrested Davis outside his home in Chicago on March 16.
Davis received two years probation for robbery in 2012, but violated his probation for associating with a felon when he was sent to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Judge Felice set bail at $50,000. Davis’s next court date is April 5 in Bridgeview.
