Area Nazareth Students Named Catholic Conference Scholar-Athletes

At its annual Awards Assembly, Nazareth Academy Athletic Director Duane Buturusis announced the winners of the school’s highest student-athlete honors, according to a news release from Nazareth Academy. 

The following Nazareth Academy students from La Grange, La Grange Park and Western Springs have been named East Suburban Catholic Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2012-13 school year: 

• John Karas (Western Springs)
• Joseph Mara (Western Springs)
• Andrew Minik (Western Springs)
• Nicholas Murphy (La Grange Park)
• Brian Prendergast (La Grange Park)
• Daniel Saladino (La Grange)
• Sarah Swade (Western Springs)
