Bike Thefts On Burlington: Western Springs Police Blotter

Possession Of Tobacco

A 14-year-old boy from Countryside was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of tobacco, electronic cigarettes and/or vaping device by a minor at Lyons Township High School at 3 p.m. on Sept. 19.

Stolen Bike

A complainant in the 1200 block of Burlington Avenue reported that their bicycle was taken without their permission from a railing near the Burlington and Central Avenue pedestrian crossing.

A complainant in the 900 block of Burlington Avenue reported that they locked their bicycle to the bike rack and it was taken without their permission sometime between Aug. 29 and Sept. 16.
