Ekdahl House First-Ever Concert Draws a Crowd

Outdoor Concert at Ekdahl House Kicks Off Summer

Last Friday night, the Western Springs Historical Society and the Thomas Ford Library Foundation hosted an outdoor family concert and ice cream social at the Ekdahl House.  Mark Dvorak played and sang while kids danced and peaked in the windows of the Ekdahl House.  The Troop 12 Boy Scout who built the mini-stage for the Western Springs Historical Society, Michael Rasmussen, was on hand to be recognized.  The stage allows the Society to host musical concerts, plays or other entertainment at the site.
