Rotary Hears About Water Needs, Plans to Help Worldwide
Matthew Supert spoke to Rotary about the Western Springs' water improvement progress. Western Springs Rotary is also traveling to Ecuador to install a clean water well there.
On Tuesday, April 30, Western Springs Rotary hosted Matthew
Supert. Mr. Supert is Director of Municipal Services with the Village of Western Springs. Mr. Supert spoke about the recent upgrades to the water processing in the Village.
The discussion was very timely for Western Springs Rotary. In June, members of the Club will travel to Ecuador to help drill a fresh water well to support a small rural community there. “We were all glad to hear about the progress in Western Springs. We are also very excited to travel to Ecuador and provide clean, safe water to people there,” said Western Springs Rotary President, G. Grant Dixon III.
