Why do you love living in Western Springs?

Maybe it's the small town feel, or the endless opportunities for our children. Perhaps you value the architecture of the homes and businesses, or you love shopping where your purchase is met with gratitude and personal service. Me? I love the festivals.  And one is coming THIS weekend!

The restaurateurs of Western Springs have started their own party! And Springfest is shaping up to be a great one!

You won't want to miss the entertainment:

 7 p.m. Evolution Rock Band  www.evolutionrockband.com

Check out the fresh ideas in food!

Casey's will be grilling Burgers and Brats and Scavuzzo's is creating homemade pizza and bread. Be sure to try the Chicken Satay and cocktail snacks from Mécénat, plus 800 West  is bringing tender Shrimp tossed in a spicy cream sauce that is sure to please. Finally, Vie has paired a fresh strawberry salad with a cotton candy topping! Outrageously good!

Don't forget, the fun starts at 4 p.m. on Burlington Avenue from Wolf to Lawn. Kids under 12 are free, 13 and over pay just $5 to attend. Food and drinks are individually priced.
