Tri for Dry LTHS triathlon

Several Lyons Township High School faculty and staff participated in the second annual Tri for Dry triathlon at South Campus. Participants used the South Campus pool to swim, the fieldhouse to bike and Bennett Field to run.

The Tri for Dry is named after former LT colleague Fred Dryanski, who passed away after a battle with cancer. Any and all donations and proceeds from the sale of commemorative t-shirts will be donated in Dryanski’s name to the LTHS Relay for Life.

This triathlon was inspired by a sophomore student triathlon held last fall and spring. The triathlon includes a 150-yard swim (6 lengths in the South Campus pool); 5 minute stationary bike pedal in the fieldhouse; and, one-third (1/3) of a mile run/walk around the track.
