Pembroke Township, Illinois is one of the poorest communities in the United States. Oprah had a show on it 7 years ago and there are residents who do not have clean running water, indoor plumbing and protection from the elements.
A lot of these are seniors who fall through cracks in the system. Our not for profit One Neighbor at a Time is bring help to those in need.
