Historical Society Hosts Questers for Special Program
The Western Springs Historical Society recently hosted the Spring Rock
Questers at the newly remodeled Water Tower Museum for a presentation on vintage wedding dresses and Victorian wedding customs. WSHS Trustee Kimberly Knake discussed the dresses as well as some of the wonderful stories behind them. The Historical Society has a collection of wedding dresses from various periods that
have been donated over the years, including several that have photos of the
donor wearing the dress at their wedding. The Spring Rock Questers are a group
that is committed to antiques and the collection and preservation of them. For
