Broken Window, Bike Stolen: Western Springs Police Blotter

Criminal Damage to Property Over $300

A complainant in the 4900 block of Woodland Avenue reported that they located a broken window on a door on a house under construction at 7:19 a.m. on July 30.

Theft – Over $500

A complainant in the 900 block of Burlington Avenue reported at 5:57 p.m. on July 30 that their bicycle was taken from the bike rack without their permission.

Harassment Through Electronic Communications

A Western Springs resident reported at 3:37 p.m. on July 31 that their juvenile child received several unwanted text messages.
