Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Speeding: Western Springs Blotter

The following items were taken from the Western Springs police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Speeding

• Anthony Carrillo, 20, Riverside, was arrested at 10:17 p.m. June 20 at Ogden and Salt Creek Lane for speeding, driving while license suspended or revoked, and possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams.

Criminal Trespass to Vehicle

• An unknown suspect went through a vehicle in the 1400 block of Hillgrove during the overnight hours of June 21 and June 22. Nothing of value appeared taken.
• An unknown suspect went through a vehicle in the 3900 block of Hampton Avenue during the overnight hours of June 21 and June 22. Nothing of value appeared taken.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

• An unknown suspect took a pair of black sunglasses from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Walnut Street during the overnight hours of June 21 and June 22.
• An unknown suspect took a purse, wallet and keys from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Western Avenue during the overnight hours of June 21 and June 22.
• An unknown suspect took several pieces of sporting equipment from a vehicle in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue during the overnight hours of June 21 and June 22.
