Burglary, Theft: Western Springs Police

A wallet was reported as stolen from Lyons Township High School's South Campus.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department released its latest blotter. Here is information from the police reports:

  • The back door of a vacant house was unlocked and open about 3 p.m. Feb. 23 in the 5000 block of Grand Avenue. Nothing was reported missing.
  • A wooden fence was damaged overnight Feb. 15 in the 3900 block of Howard Avenue.
  • A house in the 5900 block of Timber Trails Boulevard was reported as burglarized Feb. 25. Someone cut pieces of copper out of a building in the last month.
  • A wallet, which contained $20 to $30 in cash, a credit card and other items, was removed from a backpack Feb. 26 at Lyons Township High School's South Campus.
