Car Burglaries, DUI: Western Springs Blotter

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

• Angel Ayala, 32, of Cicero, was arrested at 3:36 a.m. July 8 at 55th and Grand for improper parking on road, driver's license not on person and DUI-alcohol.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

• Several parked cars found with open doors in the 4100 and 4200 block of Howard Avenue were ransacked around 1 a.m. July 9. Miscellaneous items and a wallet were stolen.
• An unlocked car in the 4200 block of Clausen was entered and items were stolen overnight between July 8 and 9.
• Several unlocked cars in the 4300 block of Lawn were entered and items, credit cards, cash and a driver's license were stolen overnight between July 10 and 11.
