Car Burglaries, License Suspended: Western Springs Arrests

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Jan. 13

• Alana Curtis, 19, of Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. at 55th Street and Brainard Avenue and charged with driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop for not having a valid registration displayed.

Jan. 14

• A 15-year-old male from Brookfield was given a local ordinance citation for being a minor in possession of a vaping device at 12:14 p.m. at LTHS, 4900 Willow Springs Road.

Jan. 15

• An unlocked car was entered in the 3800 block of Wolf Road. Nothing was reported missing.
• An unlocked car was entered in the 5700 block of Lawn Drive. Nothing was reported missing.

Jan. 17

• A 16-year-old male from Brookfield was given a local ordinance citation for being a minor in possession of a vaping device at 11 a.m. at LTHS, 4900 Willow Springs Road.
• An unlocked car was entered in the 5300 block of Woodland Avenue. Nothing was reported missing.
• An unlocked car was entered in the 4700 block of Willow Springs Road. Nothing was reported missing.
