Car Burglaries, License Suspended: Western Springs Arrests

Western Springs Police reports for the week of Jan. 13.

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Jan. 13

  • Alana Curtis, 19, of Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. at 55th Street and Brainard Avenue and charged with driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop for not having a valid registration displayed.

  • A 15-year-old male from Brookfield was given a local ordinance citation for being a minor in possession of a vaping device at 12:14 p.m. at LTHS, 4900 Willow Springs Road.

Jan. 15

  • An unlocked car was entered in the 3800 block of Wolf Road. Nothing was reported missing.
  • An unlocked car was entered in the 5700 block of Lawn Drive. Nothing was reported missing.
