Car Burglaries, License Suspended: Western Springs Blotter

The following information is from the Western Springs Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Jan. 9

• Mercy Castellanos, 25, of Cicero, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. at Ogden and Harvey avenues for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop for not having a rear registration plate light.

Jan. 14

• Someone went through an unlocked vehicle in the 4000 block of Grand Avenue at 2:03 a.m. Nothing was reported missing.
• Someone went through an unlocked vehicle in the 4000 block of Grand Avenue at 2:09 a.m. A second unlocked vehicle was stolen.
• Someone went through an unlocked vehicle in the 4200 block of Grand Avenue at 6:13 a.m. Nothing was reported missing.
• Someone went through an unlocked vehicle in the 4000 block of Hampton Avenue at 6:43 a.m. Nothing was reported missing.
