Cash Stolen From Wallet Left At Mariano's: Police Blotter

A complainant reported that they forgot their wallet at the Mariano's store at 4700 Gilbert Ave. at 8:28 a.m. on Aug. 5 and upon locating it later, there was cash missing from inside.

Criminal Damage To Property
A complainant in the 3900 block of Wolf Road reported that they noticed pry marks on a window at their residence at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 7.

Identity Theft
A complainant on Aug. 5 reported that they were notified that someone opened a ComEd account in their name without their permission.
Possession Of Controlled Substance
Devan S. Gibbs, 29, Matteson was stopped at Hillgrove and Gilbert avenues at 1:31 a.m. on Aug. 4 and charged with disobeyed stop sign, possession of cannabis – less than 10 grams and possession of controlled substance less than 15 grams.
