Check out these exciting changes at the Thomas Ford Memorial Library!

Thomas Ford, La Grange and La Grange Park libraries create a unified loan policy to help members enjoy materials longer, with fewer fines.

Loan periods will be extended to three weeks on most items!

Fines will accrue at just ten cents a day on all items!

On May 2, Thomas Ford Library will implement a number of changes to make it even easier, more economical, and enjoyable to use the Library. We have joined with our neighbors, La Grange Public Library and La Grange Park Public Library, to create a unified loan policy for our three libraries. This means when you check out an item from these three libraries, it will be due in three weeks, whether it is a book, movie, or other material. (There are a few exceptions; ask us for more details.)

Not only will members be able to keep materials longer, we are simplifying our fines. All items, regardless of department or format, that are checked out through Thomas Ford, La Grange and La Grange Park libraries will accrue overdue fines at just ten cents a day. That includes books, movies, and all other library materials.
