Check Western Springs Hit-And-Run Video

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The driver of a black Cadillac SUV struck a stop sign about 9 p.m. Aug. 21 in Western Springs, police said. The police department has released the footage of the Ring doorbell video of the incident.

According to police, the SUV was north on Hampton Avenue, then turned east on Maple Street, striking a stop sign on the northeast corner by Laidlaw School. The car then proceeded east on Maple, crossing Forest Avenue.

Police are asking anyone who lives on Hampton south of Maple or on Maple east of Forest to check their cameras for the SUV.
