Child Endangerment, Wallet Theft: Western Springs Cops
Man is accused of two counts of endangering the life of a child, report says.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs' latest police blotter includes cases involving theft, child endangerment and drugs. Here is information from the police reports:
- A 16-year-old boy of La Grange was arrested about 7 p.m. July 22 on a charge of burglary. A bicycle was removed from a victim's garage July 16 in the 5300 block of Woodland Avenue. A short investigation resulted in the youth's arrest.
- Brandon Arnold, 37, of Braidwood, was arrested 11:30 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 5500 of Grand Avenue on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. At the same time and place, Zachariah Kelley, 31, of Diamond, was arrested on two counts of endangering the life of a child.
- A person left with an unknown amount of alcohol without paying for it about 1 p.m. July 28 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave.
- A customer's wallet was stolen from a purse about 5 p.m. Aug 1 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave. The purse had been stolen from the shopping cart. The wallet contained credit and debit cards, an insurance card, a driver's license and cash.
