Clean-Up Day Will be Held in Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL - A clean-up day will be held by NEAT in Western Springs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. Residents can register and check in at the Recreation Center, 1500 Walker Street.

NEAT celebrates 31 years of community service in which community groups and families join together and clean litter and debris that has accumulated in and around public areas of Western Springs. Residents can bring rakes, brooms and gloves to help with the clean-up.

You can preregister with Linda Derr at lindaderr45@gmail.com or 708-246-1638 so appropriate work sites can be arranged. Rain date will be Sunday, April 9.
