Cologne Stolen By Man Who Tried To Use Credit Card At Walgreens

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL - A suspect ran off with a number of cologne items from the Walgreens near Lyons Township High School in Western Springs Friday afternoon after the credit car he tried to use to pay for the items was declined.

Police were told by store personnel that the man, only described in a police report as black, came into the store around 2 p.m. and attempted to use a credit card to make a purchase. When the credit card was declined, the man "took the multiple items of cologne and fled the area," according to police.
