Damage to Property, Criminal Defacement: Western Springs Blotter

The following items were taken from the Western Springs police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Warrant

• Brendan Whalen, 29, of the 4000 block of Clausen, was arrested at 4:52 a.m. May 14 and 39th and Linden for a warrant out of Chicago.

Criminal Damage to Property

• An exterior irrigation system was damaged sometime between 3 p.m. May 1 and 10:48 a.m. May 10 in the 6000 block of Flag Creek. Loss valued at $700.

Criminal Defacement to Property

• The park district building in upper Spring Rock Park was spray painted sometime between 4 and 5 a.m. May 9 in the 4400 block of Central.
• The men's bathroom in Spring Rock Park was spray painted with graffiti sometime between 5 a.m. May 11 and 7 a.m. May 12 in the 4400 block of Central.
