Deceptive Practice, DUI, Identity Theft: Western Springs Blotter

One resident reported that someone tried to convince them that their child had been arrested and needed money for bond.

DUI

Tolentino Trujillo-Bernal, 46, of Chicago was stopped at La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue at 9:49 p.m. on March 31 and charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a BAC of .08 or more, no valid driver's license and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Samantha Gill, 28, of Joliet was stopped at Ogden Avenue and I-294 at 11:53 p.m. on April 4 and was charged with driving under the influence and speeding.

A resident on 54th Place told police at 3 p.m. on April 2 that an unknown person opened fraudulent AT&T and Verizon accounts.

Deceptive Practice

A resident on Grand Avenue told police at 5:47 p.m. on April 2 that an unknown person attempted to cash a fraudulent check in his name.

A resident on Clausen Avenue told police at 6:39 p.m. on April 2 that an unknown person attempted to convince the complainant that their child was arrested and needed money for bond.
