Domestic Battery Arrest In Western Springs: Cops

A local resident faces charge after police responded to an incident, report says.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Police activity in Western Springs last week included the arrest of a local resident on a charge of domestic battery. Here's information from the police department's latest blotter:

  • Steven R. Castellion, 52, of Western Springs, was arrested shortly after 5 p.m. Feb. 9 in the 4800 block of Wolf Road on a charge of domestic battery. He was involved in an altercation with a family member.
  • Antonio Brizuela-Estrada, 49, of Chicago, was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Feb. 11 at Franklin and Ogden avenues on charges of no valid driver's license, operation of a vehicle without a valid safety sticker, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and unsafe motor vehicle.
  • A car was reported burglarized about 7:30 a.m. Feb. 12 in the 3900 block of Clausen Avenue. Someone stole a pair of prescription eyeglasses worth about $500 and hand tools valued at $150.
